According to the WUT Rector’s Order no 27/2022 of 5/4/2022 on counteracting unequal treatment and mobbing of employees at the Warsaw University of Technology, all actions in this regard are to be undertaken in three stages:

  • prevention,
  • mediatory,
  • formal.

In the prevention stage, employee training is organized as well as the preparation and distribution of information materials on the issues of unequal treatment and mobbing and counteracting these phenomena, in order to promote desirable behavior and eliminate unacceptable behavior and omissions.

In a mediatory stage, mediatory proceedings are applicable. Their goal is to solve a conflict in an amicable way. In case of not solving a conflict on a mediatory path, a party may submit a complaint, which starts a formal stage.

In order to realize a mediatory stage at CE Faculty, there is the Trust Spokesman, who is elected for a four-year term by the Faculty Community.

The Trust Spokesman is a person for the first contact. Their task is to monitor, prevent, and consider applications at the mediatory stage of counteracting unequal treatment and mobbing contentious matters concerning the phenomenon of mobbing or unequal treatment at the Warsaw University of Technology.

According to the WUT Rector’s Order no 28/2022 of 5/4/2022 on counteracting unequal treatment of students, PhD students, participants of post-graduate studies and other forms of education, persons working on the basis of civil law contracts, volunteers, interns, trainees, and retirees of the Warsaw University of Technology a Student Trust Spokesman mediates cases where the disputants are students, while a Doctoral Trust Spokesman mediates cases where the disputants are PhD students and where the disputants are a student and a PhD student.

The Faculty Trust Spokesman considers a contentious matter in a case when the parties of the conflict concerning a phenomenon of unequal treatment or mobbing are:

  • faculty worker – other WUT worker,
  • faculty worker – WUT student,
  • faculty worker – WUT PhD student,
  • faculty worker – participant of post-graduate studies and other forms of education,
  • faculty worker – a person working under a civil law contract, a volunteer, an intern, a trainee, or a WUT retired.
